Fax a PDF online
How to fax a PDF online
Already have the document as a PDF? You do not need to print it first or find a fax machine. Upload the PDF to FaxyFox, arrange the pages if you need to, enter the recipient's fax number, and send it through the fax network.

Your PDF is already ready to fax
A PDF is a digital document already. There is no reason to print it just to feed it into a machine that will turn it back into a digital signal. FaxyFox takes the file you have and sends its pages through the fax network for you.

Sending more than one PDF?
You can add pages from several PDFs to the same fax. Review and arrange them before sending, so the recipient gets them in the order you intended.
This is the normal case more often than not: a form, a signed attachment and the supporting paperwork usually arrive as three separate files.
One fax can contain pages from more than one uploaded file.

PDFs and images can go together
Paperwork does not always arrive in one format. The form might be a PDF while the signature page is a photo you took on your phone. FaxyFox lets you add both, then arrange everything into a single fax.

Do I need to print the PDF first?
No. If you already have the document as a PDF, printing it and scanning it again only adds steps and makes the pages worse. Upload the original.

Should I add a fax cover page?
Optional, but useful when the recipient needs to know who the fax is from, who it is for, or what the attached documents are about. FaxyFox can add one before you send.

What happens to the PDF when it is faxed?
The recipient does not get your PDF as an email attachment. FaxyFox uses the document's pages to send a fax over the fax network to the number you entered.
If that number belongs to a traditional fax machine, the pages may be printed there. If it belongs to an online fax service, the recipient reads them through that service instead.

Each fax page uses one faxing credit, and new accounts start with 20 free ones — so your first 20 pages cost nothing. Individual uploads can be up to 45 MB each.
After that, 20 more credits are $1.99. No subscription required.
Upload my PDFHow long does it take to fax a PDF?
Faxing is not email. The document goes page by page over the fax network, so delivery commonly takes several minutes.
Longer documents take more time, and a busy destination or a connection retry can stretch it further. Once the fax is submitted, FaxyFox keeps working on it in the background.
Faxing the PDF from your phone?
You can upload a PDF from your phone's browser too. For help finding files, scanning paper, or sending from an iPhone or Android, we wrote a separate guide.

Never. Crooked scans, giant margins, weird fonts — Faxy has seen things. He just sends the fax.
Nope. Faxy’s job is delivery, not snooping. He grabs the PDF, sends it on its way, and minds his own faxing business.
